Provide guidance, resources, and encouragement to help students successfully complete high school and access education and training after graduating. Mentoring students and helping families with the scholarship application process, as well as other options for paying for postsecondary education. ASPIRE is affiliated with the Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC).
Girl Scout Leader | Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington (GSOSW)
2012 – 2016
Served as a Girl Scout leader to a troop of twelve girls, beginning when they were in first grade. Supported these ambitious future leaders in girl-led programming provided by GSUSA. They received the Golden Trefoil Award three years in a row for their efforts, many of which were community service oriented. The girls were highly motivated by sales events and used thousands of dollars of their profits to support charities they were interested in. I received the Rising Star Award for contributions to the troop and the service unit for my roles on the service team as a Membership Growth Manager and Volunteer Mentor.

Classroom volunteer coordinator and volunteer. Worked with small groups of students requiring additional support with reading and math, as well as on special projects. Completed tasks as needed to support teachers. Planning of classroom events and parties.
