I have worked as a senior storekeeper at Eden Medical Center for almost 17 years I was responsible for ordering, stocking, shipping and receiving I performed daily cycle counts, worked with buyers to insure we could get the supplies needed to make sure patients had the supplies needed for excellent care Before the new hospital opened I was responsible for setting up locations for over a thousand items to stock in the storeroom, organizing, setting up shelving, labeling with correct item assigned numbers, making it as efficient as possible for my co-workers to fill required orders Made sure my inventory was on point daily so supplies would replenish as needed I loved working as a team to make sure the flow was working for everyone Always went out of my way to go above and beyond to make sure the storeroom ran smoothly I used Excel spreadsheets daily, along with other computer programs necessary for my daily tasks
