My Teaching Philosophy is centered around helping student's become passionate about Reading and Writing. I believe this can be accomplished by designing lesson plans that will foster their academic growth, nurture their creative outlets, and reflect their diverse backgrounds. My desire to create and engaging and masterful learning experience will be aided by cultivating strong relationships between my students and faculty. Specifically, I believe that in dedicating time to create authentic relationships on campus I am not only providing myself with the opportunity to grow and learn from others but modeling the importance of being motivated for my students in and outside the classroom.
