As a Senior Director at Nova Partners, a Cumming Corporation, and member of the leadership team for the past seven years, my operational responsibilities include overseeing client acquisition and relationship management, resource management, revenue forecasting, business financials, championing, developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives, account management, and project execution.


BioMed Realty, Bay Area, CA February 2021-Present

Currently, overseeing our largest life science portfolio for BioMed Reality, I am effectively managing multiple concurrent life science projects with a combined value of $450 million and advising on the development pipeline of an additional 500,000 square feet throughout the Bay Area. The type of project ranges from multi-building group-up warm shell research and development campus, build-to-suit development, speculative suite development, campus amenitization, and office. Operating at the intersection of real estate, relationships, and results, I have pioneered a new breed of project managers who bring knowledge and experience to the table while forging meaningful relationships, exhibiting reliable, and being trusted advisors, our clients can trust.

I managed projects from inception to move-in, providing comprehensive project management services. Responsibilities included project setup, financial and schedule development, contract compliance, financial management, and progress oversight and reporting, quality assurance, risk assessments and recommended mitigation measures. Exelixis Master Planning, Menlo Park, CA February 2021-May 2021

My role as Senior Project Manager at Exelixis was to develop and manage a process that helped Exelixis define, design, and build a campus that would meet their projected growth needs. Responsibilities included running bi-weekly visioning meetings with Flad to get the feedback needed from both the Client and Landlord to determine what existing buildings will remain, which buildings need to be demolished and built new, and what additional amenities are required throughout the existing campus.


West Campus MPK22, Menlo Park, CA July 2017-February 2021

My role as Senior Project Manager at Meta required managing several aspects of the project. Responsibilities included development of the General Contractor RFP, General Contractor onboarding, design management of Gehry Partners, design consultant onboarding and day to day project management, programming development with the multiple Meta work streams, schedule management, construction management, turnover and move in during Covid-19.

Apple Park, Cupertino, CA January 2014-June 2017

My role as Project Manager at Apple required navigating one of the largest privately funded high-tech developments in the Bay Area. Responsibilities included collaborating closely with Apple's procurement division to develop strategies aligning with the project budget and operational goals. I was integral to the success of bid package preparation, design management, change order negotiation and management, risk mitigation strategizes, and day to day construction management. Most notable was the management and execution of the MEP plant housed under the sloped steel frame roof that shapes the clerestory and mechanical penthouse and featured over 805,000 square feet of solar arrays.

Britannia East Grand, South San Francisco, CA

  • 783,500 SF business park consisting of three 4-story office buildings, five 3-story R&D buildings, and two parking structures with a total of 2,451 stalls on a 26.9 acre site.
  • Cost $110M.
  • Responsibilities included daily interaction with subcontractors and project superintendent for resolution of various field issues was highly critical. The extensive site utility plan required strategic planning, scheduling, and operations to be extremely precise. Due to the phased turnover of the buildings, the site required a site logistics plan that would maintain the safety of the end user which I was responsible for coordinating and implementing.


Life Science Campus Corrosion Repairs, Redwood City, CA

  • Repair of corrosion damage at all foundation piling for 13 buildings in a life science campus. The piling for the buildings were experiencing corrosion damage due to long term exposure to a highly concentrated salt environment underlying the buildings, and improper installation methods for the piling.
  • Cost $12M.
  • Responsibilities included daily safety monitoring and communication with the Superintendent was highly critical for this project. The crew were working under the occupied buildings, so it was required everyone was well aware of the safety regulations established for confined spaces. Worked directly with the structural engineer to ensure design efficiency, as-builts of the repaired piles were correctly documented, T&M tags were reviewed daily for final payment application.


Britannia Seaport Center - Service Annex II, Redwood City, CA

  • 5,700 SF 2-story steel structure that connected two 40,000 SF buildings converted for lab use.
  • Cost $4.4M.
  • Responsibilities included managing site work, structural steel, MEP, curtain wall, and interior finishes. Responsible for issuing RFI’s, submittals, change order requests, schedule, review of daily T&M tags, owner billings, and other contract changes. This also required daily interaction and coordination with subs and superintendent, running OAC meetings and summarizing the 3-week look ahead schedule.


Britannia Modular Labs III/Britannia Life Sciences, South San Francisco, CA.

  • 97,000 SF of shell, tenant, and site renovations to three existing tilt-up structures. Shell modifications consisted of new entrance canopies, new windows, seismic upgrades, re-roofing, repainting, and new service yard enclosures.
  • Cost $17M.
  • Responsibilities included preparing and finalizing the GMP pricing, including cost analysis of direct and indirect costs, cost margins, risk assessment and contingencies. This project also required reviewing monthly billing and progress payments as well as coordinating labor distribution reports and analysis of weekly labor reports and monthly cost reports.


Takeda Pharmaceuticals - TI’s Phase 1 and 2, South San Francisco, CA

  • 34,700 SF and 13,300 SF phased shell build-out, including biology labs, tissue culture suites, equipment room, and glass washroom and remodel of existing building and lab reconfiguration.
  • Cost $12M.
  • Responsibilities included coordinated utility relocation plans including scheduling and operations. I managed the design submittal, RFI’s, submittals for all the Design-Build subcontractors. This project had various environmental aspects where I had to ensure we were in compliance with all California and State and local county regulations.
