This teaching position works directly with students outside of the regular classroom setting. Daily schedule requires flexibility and may include direct instruction in person and over the phone instruction. Additional collaborative work may regularly take place with parent feedback, coworkers and administrators to ensure the high academic performance and achievement of these students. The teacher provides direct differentiated instruction to students, and provides positive and consistent classroom management and behavioral intervention and academic support.

Mentor and Tutor 9th grade Special Education students in the subjects of History, Science, and English.

Assigned to work one on one with a Special Education student (Mild to Severe), to be in an emotionally disturbed classroom, or to be part of a special program. Minimize behaviors of Special Education students, that will get in the way of learning and help promote new behaviors that facilitate learning.

Tutor Elementary and Middle School Students with Learning Disabilities in the areas of Math, Reading, and Language arts.

Educate the public about Maritime History. Dress in Maritime costume. Provide appropriate Historical information for all ages and abilities..

Tutor High School students in History. Assist with homework and test preparation.

Tutor elementary age children with Learning Disabilities in the subjects of Math, Reading, and Writing. Assist Education Specialist with IEP paperwork and other office duties.

Supervise and lead age appropriate activities in arts and crafts, games. Taught Biblical curriculum to children ages 2 to 5.
