  • Became General Manager in October 2022 to facilitate expansion of the Restaurant to a second location.
  • Creating the General Manager position involved hiring and training staff and purchasing all necessary inventory to open our Friendly Neighborhood location in January of 2023. While continuing to meet the sales growth and labor expectations of ownership at the original location.
  • Managed up to 50 staff members between 2 restaurant locations. Responsibilities include – scheduling, in-house communication, creating and implementing policies, covering shifts with a flexible work schedule, interviewing, hiring, training, resolving internal conflict and weekly meetings with ownership.
  • In charge of all FOH inventory and ordering. Created and maintained relationships with vendors, organizational systems and protocols and disseminated information to staff as needed about item and menu changes. Including creation and costing of new food and beverage items.
  • Social media and brand awareness. Designed media for website, social media pages, printed and online menus, announcements and events using Canva, Squarespace, Google, Craigslist, Instagram, Facebook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Heavily involved in creating and maintaining a healthy workplace culture by building team comradery and leading by example to keep staff happy, motivated and always working towards a common goal.
