Summary

I am a Professional RN with strong expertise in Medical-Surgical care. I have been diligently working at Orange Coast Memorial since 2007, with this proven track record shows I can deliver high-quality patient outcomes through effective team collaboration and adaptability to changing needs. I started off working as a CNA on our unit for 14 years before transitioning into a nurse. I obtained my RN, BSN, Clinical award through American University of Health Sciences in Signal Hill, CA. Working at OCM on our surgical floor is like being in a constant revolving door. I try to keep things running as smoothly as possible from admission all the way throughout the discharge process. I am skilled in patient assessment, wound care, medication administration, and post-operative care. Valued for reliability, strong communication, and ability to drive positive results in high-pressure environments. I am currently on the UBC- as a co-chair, and our units Fall committee as a Fall Champion since 2024. I am working on continuing my education through the Appls program trying to obtain a level V. I am also currently studying to become certified in Med-Surg. I am an active Preceptor as well as a Mentor on my unit.
