• ED trauma technicians are responsible for assisting the ED and critical care team in the management of critically ill or injured patients. ED trauma technicians spend much of their shift in the adult resuscitation bay, as well as the pediatric department. ED medics are trained in IV access using ultrasound, and serve as the difficult IV access team in the emergency department. ED medics are paged to every code blue in the hospital, and are responsible for response calls within the hospital.

The ED tech is responsible for supporting the clinical team in the emergency department; roles and responsibilities include gaining IV access, EKG, vital signs, wound care, splinting per MD orders.

• The Philmont ranger is responsible for groups of 5-18 at a time, to educate and assist in crew dynamics, to ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone involved.
• Planned and executed 21-day backpacking treks through the backcountry of New Mexico.
• Served as first responder for medical emergencies, search and rescue and fire suppression.
• Responded to emergencies involving medical aid or search and rescue operations.

• Assisted in developing policies related to instructor qualifications, curriculum design, evaluation criteria.
• Led cross-functional teams in the development of interdisciplinary training initiatives.
• Conducted regular training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and development opportunities.
• Managed training budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
