ICU

• Responsible for the complete care of 1-2 patients in a 12 bed general medical ICU
• Patient population including but not limited to acute respiratory failure, cardiac arrest,
  sepsis, COPD exacerbations, GI bleed, liver and kidney failure
• Recovery of patients immediately after operations and cardiac catheterizations
• Assist with bedside procedures such as intubation, lumbar punctures, and placement of arterial and central venous lines
• Relief charge nurse
• Responding to codes and rapid responses

Step Down ICU

• Hired into Nurse Residency Program – 6 Weeks Surgical/Trauma; Observation; Cardiac
  Surgical
• Administered medications accurately and safely, reducing medication errors and adverse reactions.
• Promptly and accurately record patient care information– 4 Hour Intervals due to High
  Risk Patient Base
