Because of the high percentage of students invited, Indian Trails Middle School received the Poetic Achievement Award, given to the top 10% of schools who participate.
• 6th grade student was selected as a Top Ten Winner in the national essay contest; the same selection Taylor Swift was awarded when she entered this competition.
