Creative Communications Writing Competitions (2013-2014):

  • Over 50% of students who entered were invited to be published for the southeast region of the United States; less than 50% of all selections are selected for this honor. Because of the high percentage of students invited, Indian Trails Middle School received the Poetic Achievement Award, given to the top 10% of schools who participate.
  • 6th grade student was selected as a Top Ten Winner in the national essay contest; the same selection Taylor Swift was awarded when she entered this competition.
