Summary

Hi, Im Katie, and I would say im a dedicated worker. There was a time when I was working two jobs while keeping up with school. No matter how tired I was or how little sleep I got, I kept pushing because we needed the money. That experience taught me a lot about dedication and how people struggle to get money. My strongest strengths are that I will not give up and always try my hardest no matter what. At Wingstop, I managed all stations at once due to low employment, and I got through it by telling myself, “I can do this”At El Rincon, I handled seating, cashier duties, and taking food to tables all at once. These two experiences taught me about multitasking and staying positive under pressure! It’s also important to always be on time!!

Work History

El Rincón

Cashier, Host, Server
Pflugerville, TX
05.2024 - 03.2026

As a host, I always made sure to greet guests with a genuine smile, welcoming them into the restaurant, guiding them to their table, and ensuring their dining experience started off right! As a server, I got to communicate with customers even more, asking how they were doing and would get them drinks while they decided on what they would like to order. Then, I would ask what they would like to order, and wait for their food to come out. Before taking their food out, I would carefully double-check the ticket and table number. Then I'd deliver their food politely and accurately, always making sure to ask if they needed anything else. I always checked back regularly to see if they needed drink refills or anything at all!

Line Cook, Cashier

Wingstop
Austin Texas
12.2024 - 07.2025
  • I began at Wingstop as a cashier but quickly took on different roles. I was responsible for bagging orders, making sure everything was right, and managing the fry station. Eventually, I became a cook, which meant I was in charge of preparing the wings. The environment could be quite fast-paced, and there was often a lot of pressure, but I maintained a positive attitude, which helped me handle everything effectively. One change I had to adapt to was the shift in closing time, as we went from closing at 12 AM to 1 AM, which required adjusting my routine, but it was no problem! Whenever there was an issue with an order, such as a missing item, we prioritized finding a quick solution by quickly correcting the order or offering a replacement meal at a later date.
