I grew up in a rural community working part time for my dad’s construction business. Helping him with everything from running heavy equipment to pouring cement, this has taught me great work ethic and a willingness to learn. I am a very honest and hard working person. I grew up in a family of 9 being the second oldest and my family has always encouraged us to give back to our community and our church. I was involved in activities throughout high school such as sports, 4-H, and FFA. Participating in these activities has taught me time management, leadership, and how to work with others.
I have been an active 4-H member for 10 years. I’ve shown goats, chickens, pigs, and rabbits. I competed in archery competitions all over the state for 8 years and this past year I served as our 4-H club president.
I was an FFA member for 5 years. I have competed in many different contests throughout the years and I served as our chapter vice president for the past two years.
