• Manage several different lists of patients at a time, either independently or as a part of a team, to include the Solid Tumor service, Apheresis, and Malignant Hematology.

• Oversaw care for critically-ill patients with the main emphasis being in Neurology and Trauma patients.
• Operated and interpreted data from invasive devices such as external ventricular drains, Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines, endotracheal tubes, central lines, chest tubes, body cavity drains, and more.
• Encouraged and trained new nurses to provide the expected standard of high quality care.
• Provided expert level intense monitoring of critically-ill patients and communicated with multiple interdisciplinary teams in order to provide excellent quality care.

• Provided high quality care to patients with a wide range of disease processes while coordinating communication between patients and their providers.
• Managed up to 6 patients at a time, all of which required close cardiac monitoring.

● Three week rotations through: Pediatric ICU, Orthopedic Trauma, and Labor and Delivery.
● One day rotations through: Radiology, Nursing Informatics, and Code/Rapid Response Team.

• Traveled to the rural communities surrounding Nairobi each year (2018, 2019, and 2023) for one week to serve as the only RN in collaboration with a team of doctors, dentists, and optometrists.
• Administered shots, breathing treatments, and managed IV fluid resuscitation.
• Assessed and treated patients with the assistance of nurse practitioners and physicians.
• Organized and managed the operation of the team's pharmacy.
• Educated patients and families on new medications, follow-up care, and lifestyle choices.

• Assisted with organizing activities and entertaining children who are currently in the foster system or have been adopted in order to provide an evening of respite for their families.

• Assisted in creating a local program aimed at providing routine clinical assessments and medical care at no cost for the underserved population of Greenville.
• Coordinated and lead a team of nurses in assessing members of the local community.
• Managed and organized materials needed to perform routine assessments including blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI measurements.
• Facilitated communication between nursing members, providers, and other volunteers.
