Dear Employment,
I have held a variety of occupations, including barista, nanny, assistant, and golf course employee. I was employed as a barista at Ziggi's Coffee, Black Hills Blend, and Harriet and Oak in Rapid City, South Dakota. In this role, I assisted in handcrafting drinks and serviced customers in a friendly atmosphere. Previously, I was employed at a golf club where I catered to the requirements of the patrons by making meals and supplying refreshments for the local players. In Bellingham, Washington, I have looked after two kids, ages three and six, as a nanny. I took measures to make sure the kids were healthy and secure when I was a nanny. I additionally picked them up from school, made meals for them, kept their daily routine, helped with housework, and developed good communication skills with the parents. I was a barista at Gozzer Ranch Golf and Lake Club before I started nannying. Gozzer Ranch provided me the opportunity to tend to celebrities, big-name business personal, as well as those in the sports and entertainment sector. I worked as the CEO of Property Solutions Northwest LLC's assistant while I was living in Spokane, Washington. My responsibilities included entering data into Excel, picking up and dropping off checks to and from employers, installing and taking down lockboxes, and retrieving my employer's mail. I worked as a barista at a local Starbucks in Tampa while balancing my high school coursework. In my role as a barista, I made sure that my patrons were satisfied by meticulously making their drinks and staying in touch with them throughout their experience. Additionally, I grew up being part of a military family. Being a military dependent has allowed me many opportunities to volunteer for different communities. I have volunteered in several different states since I have moved around frequently. I have had the opportunity to tend to cadets at military events, help out at local homeless shelters, and assist military families who are adapting to new locations and lifestyles.
All of my work experience has been helpful to me in developing great people skills and the ability to collaborate and listen to others. I believe that my optimism, patience, ability to learn quickly, and reliability will allow me to work and excel in future positions.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Solheim
