● Provided all new and existing staff with training and education re: 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, OSHA as well as on their local and state regulatory requirements, standards and guidance on an annual basis (at minimum).

● Developed, implemented and maintained the following in each state: Community Relations Plan, All Hazards Response Plan specific to the region of each state served, Annual and Quarterly Risk Management Plan, New Employee Onboarding Plan and Orientation Manual; Patient Consent Forms and Orientation Manual, Performance and Quality Improvement Plan; Cultural Competency Plan, program services policies, procedures, protocols and workflows

● Proactively identified potential risks and implemented mitigation strategies often utilizing a root-cause analysis to minimize negative impacts on clinical or administrative operations in the present or future.

● Completed written responses to all survey deficiency correction orders with comprehensive plan of action to address and resolve identified issues and provided evidence at follow-up survey that plan of correction had been implemented and adopted by the center employees and patients.

● Clinical subject matter expert on development and implementation of comprehensive behavioral health treatment programming, guidelines, policies, procedures, protocols and workflows specific to outpatient behavioral health services supported by the licensing and regulatory bodies specific to the states as mentioned above. This was done in conjunction with the Medical Director factoring in interdisciplinary team feedback and state variances;

● Recruited, interviewed and hired professionals and ensured that they achieved competency and proficiency in providing appropriate, medically necessary and effective clinical care in line with the organizations' mission, vision, values, goals and strategic plan;

● Provide on-site and/or remote clinical and administrative support, supervision, education and training on all topics related to services provided and a recovery oriented systems of care philosophy;

● Collaborated with Senior Leadership to develop new strategies to increase access to care, improve patient care and thus increase satisfaction and in turn census; coordinated community outreach efforts; engaged in networking to promote referral resources

● Managed the allocation of clinical time and productivity (driving results without compromising provider health/patient care);

● Developed and implemented curriculum for new “Methadone Orientation Education and Patient Safety” groups provided on a monthly basis to all new patients of the program

● Active member and attendee of the Family Recovery Council, which serves to assist struggling families that may be involved with the states child protective services that may also be struggling with an active SUD/MH or co-occurring disorder by collaborating to identify easier ways and better strategies to link families to treatment and to provide education and awareness to communities, hospitals, patients, individuals, etc that will help foster improved relationships.

● Researched and reported on current trends and evidenced based practices to ensure the program was fully informed about current and most effective treatments.

● Co-facilitated in the preparation and planning for multiple state licensing and Joint Commission credentialing surveys.
