Authored multiple grants (including Read to Achieve). During time as principal PES grew from Needs Improvement (2014) to School of Distinction (2017) in the Kentucky Assessment System, and National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Dept of Ed (2018).
Served as district-wide Supervisor of Instruction (K-12). Coordinated and led professional development, served as district assessment coordinator, SBDM trainer, and KTIP intern coordinator. Authored district comprehensive improvement plan and served as staff trainer.
Instructed students in grades 5-6 in language arts and social studies. Served as academic coach and basketball coach. Interned multiple first year teachers and served as cooperating teacher for student teachers. Elected four times by co-workers to serve on SBDM council. Recipient of HP Technology Grant.
