Increased student achievement by updating academic frameworks, instructional resources, and assessment tools to align with student needs. Coordinate curriculum development efforts to align with state standards and enhance instructional quality across all grade levels. Provide leadership and guidance to district counselors, to ensure comprehensive support for student academic and emotional well-being. Supervise district resource teachers, optimizing resources and support for effective teaching practices. Facilitate mentorship programs for first and second year teachers, promoting professional growth and retention. Oversee SBDM councils, ensuring compliance with guidelines and facilitating effective policy implementation. Lead the development and execution of the district's Comprehensive Improvement Plan, driving continuous improvement initiatives and outcomes.

Served preschool-6th grade. Developed and implemented policies, curriculum, budgets, scheduling, and hiring plans in order to maximize student learning, create a positive learning environment, and cultivate leadership in others. Authored multiple grants (including Read to Achieve). During time as principal PES grew from Needs Improvement (2014) to School of Distinction (2017) in the Kentucky Assessment System, and National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Dept of Ed (2018).

Served as district-wide Supervisor of Instruction (K-12). Coordinated and led professional development, served as district assessment coordinator, SBDM trainer, and KTIP intern coordinator. Authored district comprehensive improvement plan and served as staff trainer.

Instructed students in grades 5-6 in language arts and social studies. Served as academic coach and basketball coach. Interned multiple first year teachers and served as cooperating teacher for student teachers. Elected four times by co-workers to serve on SBDM council. Recipient of HP Technology Grant.

Instructed students in grades 4-8 in a variety of subjects. Worked with school extracurricular teams on a voluntary basis. Served as head teacher for 1998-99 school year when principal served 2 schools. Yearbook sponsor and fundraising coordinator. Completed KY Teacher Internship Program (1995).

Served in multiple districts as a substitute teacher in a variety of grade levels and subject areas.
