After I received my degree in nursing at the Allgemeines Krankenhaus Ochsenzoll, a Hospital with focus on psychiatry and physiotherapy in the 90’s I broadened my experience as registered nurse in Germany includes working at the Bernhard-Nocht Institute for tropical and infectious diseases and I worked until my oldest son was born in 2010 at the University Hospital of Hamburg Eppendorf, In Urology.

My husband and I immigrated to the USA in 2011, my husband was offered a position at JHU, Department of Epidemiology.

In 2013 I had twins, and was a stay at home mother until I started my current position as assistant teacher at First English Lutheran Preschool in Baltimore. I am currently employed in part time.

I am experienced in working with neurodivergent students, I was the one on one teacher for different students.

I am also in alcoholic in recovery for almost 6 years sober and active in AA.

This February/ March I was a patient at Sheppard Pratt inpatient and outpatient.

My recovery has been stable.

Through my work as a nurse, mother of three children 15 and 12 year old twins, assistant teacher with extensive training in the Mariposa Method ( Mariposaeducation.org),

my personal experience being an alcoholic, getting sober by my self in 2020, now actively working in AA and my personal experience at Sheppard Pratt, I believe I can be of good service to patients. I especially enjoy working with children.
