Provided placement for patients to receive either inpatient or outpatient rehab, or after care placement, such as a halfway house or Therapeutic Center. Caseload of up to 12 patients.

Provided patient intake upon arrival; developed individual treatment plans and maintained minimum weekly updates on these plans. Connected patients to appropriate resources and services; including Social Services, N.A./AA groups, veteran, job, and counseling agencies, and CPS, parole, and probation.

Provided daily group meetings with patients, multiple 1:1 sessions with patients, and corresponded communication between patients and their families.

Maintained a therapeutic environment with patients while establishing interpersonal relationships with them. Conducted crisis intervention and conflict resolution amongst patients, assist with patient care and intervention, family intervention; and provide support services to case managers.

Work experience in all departments that included the women's, men's, detox, and extensive experience on the adolescence unit. Administered personal and property searches and room inspections. Conducted spiritual and therapeutic lectures with patients.

Attended various training classes that would focus on new treatments and procedures, de-escalation techniques, and protective strategies when a patient is being aggressive.
