• As a welder fabricator for Integrated Processing Systems I perform daily tasks such as stainless Tig Welding (main skill), Machine fabrication, Machine installation, Lathe training, Mill training (CNC mill running G code, manual mill), Pump fabrication, Cooling coil fabrication, Mig structural welding and plastic welding. I have fabricated and welded components to assemble structural forms, such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, and furnace shells. I have repaired broken or cracked parts using cutting torches and welding equipment and installed new plant equipment per manufacturer's instructions while adhering to safety protocols. I am proficient in reading blueprints in order to determine proper dimensions of components being fabricated. I ensure that all welds meet code requirements and follow all safety guidelines through proper machine guarding and lockout and tagout procedures. I produce all fabrication work using appropriate welding techniques, metallurgy knowledge and engineering requirements.

• As a maintenance tech for Utah Iron LLC I was in charge of facility maintenance and performed maintenance tasks such as lubricating and cleaning machines and equipment, replacing defective parts such as bearings, seals, gears, valves, and conducted regular safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. I regularly welded the large machines, and operated hand and power tools to complete repairs that included large and small pump repair and large mill installation. I assisted in installing new systems, replacement parts and components to maintain proper mill operation. I made sure to be available to promptly respond to all emergency breakdowns at any time during shift hours. My team and i were responsible for the daily operation and upkeep of the mill and all milling equipment and worked hard to ensure a smooth running process every day of the week.

• In this position I performed drill operation and maintenance of a DM45 Drill rig. My blast crew and I worked to ensure that all safety protocols were followed while operating heavy machinery and/or working with hazardous and explosive materials. I performed all required trainings in order to be adept at timing and explosive calculation. I set up grit recycling systems for efficient reuse of abrasives during blasting operations and performed regular maintenance checks on all equipment used in the blasting process. Every day I worked to identify potential hazards associated with specific jobsites and worked with site supervisors to develop appropriate safety measures. I performed daily duties such as regular maintenance checks on all equipment used in the blasting process, cleaning out blast tanks after each use according to company procedures and marked patterns, locations and depths of charge holes for drilling. I was responsible for placing explosive charges in holes or other spots, detonating explosives to demolish structures or to loosen earth and rock. I operated and drove trucks to transport explosives and blasting equipment to blasting sites.

I was hired on as a Parks Maintenance worker for the Cedar City, UT Parks and Rec division. I performed preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure proper operation. I assisted in the installation of new equipment, including irrigation and sprinkler systems according to manufacturer instructions. I also operated a variety of hand tools and power tools for various maintenance activities, including public park and city facilities upkeep. I worked with my team to operate and run city events that included multi state baseball tournaments and holiday events and managed others to ensure a smooth running process. I managed myself and my time well to perform daily duties such as minor painting jobs around the city as required, garbage collection from designated public areas, operating hand tools and power tools to make minor maintenance repairs and maintain grounds and walks. I operated and maintained government vehicles regularly.
