As a Nursing Assistant on a post-operative unit, I provide direct patient care to individuals recovering from surgical procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. My responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility and ambulation, and promptly reporting any changes in patient condition to the nursing team. Our unit also frequently receives admissions from the Emergency Room, allowing me to care for patients with a wide range of acute and post-surgical needs.I am often floated to other units, which has expanded my clinical experience and adaptability. Through this, I have gained exposure to medical-surgical, rehabilitation, and surgical patient populations, as well as patients admitted directly from the ER. • A Mental Health Technician is a professional who provides support to mental healthcare professionals in hospitals, private institutions or patient residences. I observe and report information about patient behavior to the Doctor, including mood swings and the wellbeing of their patients. I also listened to patients' concerns, observe their behavior, and record their condition. Report changes in patient health or behavior to medical staff. Lead patients in therapeutic and recreational activities.
