Served as Pharmacist of Record for studies conducted by the Vaccine Trial Unit of the Clinical Research Center. Presently Back up Pharmacist for the Investigational Drug Service for Morehouse School of Medicine.

• Responsible for filling prescriptions for all ACTG, IMPAACT, industry sponsored and Physician initiated studies, and Expanded Access Programs performed here at the Infectious Disease Center
• Responsible for maintaining research drug inventory
• Responsible for dispensing and keeping accountability records for study drugs
• Responsible for medication counseling for patients newly enrolled in ACTG studies
• Responsible for training additional pharmacy personnel in performing Research Pharmacist duties.

• Served as Acting Supervisor whenever Supervisor is absent or unavailable
• Resolved any patient concerns or complaints that may occur to the patient's and the Health System's satisfaction
• Maintained the highest level of customer service at all times.

• Initiated and developed guidelines for the mail order prescription program
• This program was developed to assist our patients with transportation challenges to stay in care
• Was instrumental in the setup and development of the Infectious Disease Pharmacy and the ADAP Pharmacy
• Responsible for filling and checking prescriptions for correctness and accuracy
• Mentored and trained new pharmacists and technicians
• Experience includes but is not limited to IV admixture, chemotherapy preparation, hyperalimentation, unit dose dispensing, narcotic inventory management, outpatient dispensing, and patient medication counseling
• Incorporated the prescription refill process into the Infectious Disease Pharmacy.

• Insured that the HIV pharmaceutical care for all Georgia ADAP patients was of the highest standard
• During my tenure as Pharmacist-In-Charge of the ADAP Pharmacy, we expanded from filling 600 prescriptions per month with one employee to filling more than 13,000 prescriptions per month with ten employees
• This was a mail order operation that delivered prescriptions to more than 90 sites around the state of Georgia
• Provided HIV drug information to Physicians, Nurses, and other medical providers involved in HIV care
• We also maintained an advice line for patients enrolled in the ADAP program.
