  • Recruitment & Outreach: Oversee facility tours and represent UTCVM at conferences, career fairs, and community outreach events. Design and implement educational programs for local K–12 schools, universities, and the general public. Foster relationships with community members and key industry partners. Co-lead initiatives that allow youth to gain insight into the fields of animal science, veterinary medicine, and agriculture such as the Veterinary Summer Experience Program (VSEP), the Virtual Veterinary Science Club in collaboration with TN 4-H, and Kids U. Act as the primary liaison between prospective students nationwide and UTCVM.
  • Student Engagement & Access: Coordinate new as well as existing educational and wellness initiatives that support student development and success. These opportunities include but are not limited to those for admitted students such as Admitted Students Day, Student Ambassador and Jr. Ambassador Programs, Orientation, and scholarship coordination. Help foster an inclusive and supportive campus climate in addition to serving as a resource for our diverse student body. Active member of the Student and Academic Affairs Team, Gamma Sigma Delta-the honor society of agriculture, and the Student Wellness Committee.
  • Administrative & Program Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Students and the Dean’s Suite of the college. Responsibilities include acting as a primary contact for the college-specializing in internal and external communications related to the Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program, maintaining records and office operations, coordinating projects, preparing educational materials, and supporting collaboration across departments.
