  • Provides acute patient care in the urgent care setting starting with front desk registration followed by rooming the patient for an assessment. This includes but is not limited to gathering patient medical history and vitals along with any other immediate testing or care before the provider assesses the patient; also setting up for procedures and prepping patient for any imaging that might be required.
  • Additional tasks include confirming imaging orders and protocols with the provider based on patients injury and then completing those exams on the Shimadzu portable with View Works Software. All images in our facility are portable in the patient rooms ranging from chests to extremities and also some spinal and pelvis/hip exams.
  • Familiar with EPIC for charting and completing xray orders as well as Sectra
  • Responsible for logging and ordering office supplies and inventory as well as performing QA/QC procedures for testing, xray machinery and office opening and closing
