· Performed focused musculoskeletal evaluations for pre-operative, post-operative, follow-up, and new orthopedic patients

· Assisted intra-operatively in total hip and knee arthroplasty and orthopedic trauma procedures

· Administered hip and knee corticosteroid injections under supervision

· Interpreted diagnostic imaging including X-ray and advanced imaging to guide clinical decision-making

Developed and refined treatment plans based on history, physical examination, and imaging findings

· Participated in inpatient orthopedic care including pre-operative and post-operative management

· Evaluated patients for orthopedic consults and assisted in clinical decision-making

· Involved in inpatient pain management consults and longitudinal pain management planning

· Observed and assisted in both elective and emergent orthopedic surgical procedures

· Scrubbed into orthopedic surgeries and assisted intra-operatively as a PA student

Gained exposure to perioperative workflow, sterile technique, and surgical team dynamics
