Postpartum (LDRP) Nurse position:

Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Registered Nurse

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, recognizing and responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Assist physicians, certified nurse midwives, and anesthesia providers during vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform newborn assessments, stabilization, and routine care immediately following delivery.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, newborn care, breastfeeding, and discharge planning.
• Support high-risk obstetric patients and participate in emergency interventions, including obstetric hemorrhage and neonatal resuscitation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
