A. Internal Content & Messaging Development
-Develop internal guidance on campaign messaging and digital storytelling.
-Draft, edit, and format communications for all media formats, including press releases, newsletters, talking points, and visual captions.
-Coordinate messaging across platforms and maintain consistency with campaign voice
and priorities.
B. Multimedia & Digital Storytelling
-Capture, organize, and help edit photos, videos, and other multimedia content.
-Craft narratives that humanize policy and uplift the stories of East Charlotte
communities.
C. Policy Research & Communications
-Conduct research on Charlotte City Council policies, ordinances, budget documents, resolutions, and governance practices.
-Assist in identifying gaps in existing city policies and propose equity-focused, community-centered alternatives.
-Draft briefing materials, one-pagers, and social media content to help communicate key policy priorities.
