- Met with teams twice a week after school for 6 months out of the school year to study and learn Creek customs, traditions, history, government, legends/stories, people of note, and language.
- Created sample questions to help students study and understand the complex wording of the study guide.
- Promoted and maintained excitement for competition and good sportsmanship without the pressure of winning, so that the students can find joy and success in learning something new.
