Manages and implements the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program at NAS PAX River and assist installation Sexual Assault Response Coordinator with 53 tenant commands and supervising 36+ Uniform Victim Advocates. Provide 24/7 support to victims of sexual violence, accompaniment, information and referral, medical, investigative, and legal procedures; and ensures victims understand reporting options and the processes involved. Oversees the plan for and ensures the immediate safety and physical needs of the victim. Manages case information of sexual assault; safeguards and retains all case file information in DSAID. Coordinate education of legal procedures with NCIS and VLC to ensure victims are prepared for hearings. Securing facts and evidence to ensure issuance of military and civilian protective orders in collaboration with CO, JAG, NCIS and local law enforcement. Consult NCIS Special Agents on Article 117 and 120 UCMJ offenses. Co-facilitate sexual assault briefs with NCIS. Conducts senior leader training to increase awareness of sexual assault issues and offender behavior. Provide annual GMT, First Responder, SAPR CDO, CO Toolkit Briefs highlighting updated and most current DoD, OPNAV, CNIC and NAVADMIN policies. Represent the agency in Navy meetings, conferences, accreditation visits, and Department of Defense (DoD) and joint service committees. Speaking to local law enforcement, civilian sector domestic and sexual violence agencies, public, industry and special interest groups about victim issues to publicize federal efforts to develop and improve programs for victims, and efforts to promote interest and support at the local level. Collaborate with local rape crisis center to provide prevention education to installation personnel. Coordinate Pure Praxis primary prevention training. Host the only in person SAPR 5K in NDW for FY22. Collects data and conducts trend analysis.
