Summary

I am an actively involved mother of two children on the Autism Spectrum striving to become a Registered Behavior Technician. Over the past year my kids have been in ABA full time. Seeing the progress they have made and seeing how much their therapists love and encourage them has led me to pursue a career as an RBT. Being involved and hands on with my kids and the other children at the Umbrella Center for ABA therapy has made me realize that I have a passion for helping kids with special needs. I want to help them reach their full potential and I know becoming a Registered Behavior Technician will set me on the right path!

I have the patience, compassion and commitment it takes to guide and teach kids with Autism. I know that having two children on the Spectrum has prepared me for this career. I handle all of my kids daily needs such as; bathing, using the restroom, preparing food, emotional navigation and management skills, providing engaging activities that not only peaks their interests but adds additional develop mental support, and providing assistance with new and future skill development their center or myself expresses the may need. With my hands on experience and passion to help, I know I would make a great Registered Behavior Technician at your center!
