Summary

Previously, Kayla held the Senior Vice President role for the Taylor Street companies managing personnel, marketing, transactions, and the overall general office operations. She was also a long time Senior Analyst for the capital advisory company, Taylor Street Capital Partners, providing analytical, marketing, and transactional support to the company’s capital advisors.

Kayla began her career at Marcus & Millichap in Phoenix as a transaction coordinator and analyst for an established value-add and single tenant shopping center agent. In 2014, Kayla began to work for Patrick O’Meara as his analyst in capital markets for Marcus Millichap Capital and then later in the same capacity for Marcus & Millichap’s elite Institutional Property Advisors investment sales group. Together, she and Patrick closed over $300 million in debt and investment sales transactions. During that time, she also helped facilitate and close direct investment opportunities for Taylor Street Investments.

In 2016, Kayla left Marcus & Millichap with Patrick to begin the formation of the Taylor Street companies. She was instrumentally involved in the strategic planning for the companies as well as the day-to-day operations. Because of her experience in retail and multifamily, she is invaluable in finance, acquisitions and dispositions for Taylor Street and Taylor Street clients.

Originally from Alaska, Kayla came from a family of commercial real estate developers, where she developed a passion for Real Estate growing up. She graduated from Arizona State University in the W.P. Carey School of Business with a Bachelor’s of Science in Real Estate, one of the last to graduate with this specialized degree.
