Being a line tech was the best job I have ever had. Unfortunately I had to leave that spot for better hours as my daughter comes first, but I need to stay busy and it certainly did that for me unlike my current position in formation. I love puzzles and riddles which is exactly how I think of machines. I am never too proud to ask questions and I love know how things work too to bottom and inside out. I think a maintenance apprentice job is absolutely ideal for someone eager to learn as much as my peers are willing to teach me and I want nothing more than to further my knowledge in the plant. I have worked on all of the lines in the building and formation, and as I've worked in the pasting area I definitely need to improve my knowledge of the machinery back there. I am eager to prove myself in all ways through actions and proof, rather than words and have full confidence in my ability to do so. I also have no desire to ever leave night shift as a lot of the most knowledgeable maintenance employees do, so I would be on graves to stay. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing about any opportunities that may be available to me.
In 2018 I started as a Line 2/3 rotation associate and worked my way up on the line until I was COS operator. While under that title, I spent my last 9 months as the line tech without being signed off due to there being a change in the sign off paperwork and/or system. I also assisted as line tech on line 0 and line 4 when I had time to step away. Todd Fontaine was my lead and can verify this information. I absolutely loved my position, but after a promise of working 4-10 hour shifts rather that 7 days a week fell through I had to make the tough decision to leave due to being a single mother. Therefore since August 28th, 2024 I have been a formation associate.
