North Central College, Naperville, IL, Summer Undergraduate Research Colloquium with Mentor Dr. Silvia Alvarez-Clare, 06/01/15, Quantified the amount of phosphorus and the pH in rainforest soil to learn about nutrient cycling through acid base chemical properties. Performed phosphorous extractions of the soil at Argonne National Laboratory. Quantified the Phosphorus by using a microplate spectrophotometer. Presented data at North Central College’s Summer Undergraduate Research Colloquium poster symposium.
