At AMC (Animal Medical Clinic) I help all Veterinarians gather information from the owners on the next appointments; illness or preventative exam, etc. to better prepare the Doctor for treatment.

I am incharge of my own patients as well when they are there for quick visits such as: vaccine boosters, recheck lab work, glucose tests, and so much more.

• Reviewed pet records from daily visits and appointments, entering important data into system.
• Collected samples of bodily fluids to analyze for parasites or other diseases.
• Prepared and administered medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarian.
• Partnered with IDEXX to analyze blood samples and diagnose conditions and diseases.
• Adhered strictly to safety protocols while working with hazardous materials such as drugs and chemicals.

At UrgentVet I kept the flow of the clinic manageable for all our clients and employees. I assisted employees become more confident and grow in their skills, ensured the clinic workflow was efficient and organized, I recorded all of the controlled drugs used each night, etc.

• Operated x-ray machines and exposed radiographic films.
• Administered and monitored anesthesia for surgeries and operations.
• Assisted with polishing, removing stains and other dental procedures.
• Cleaned and sanitized equipment and surfaces to protect animal and staff health.
• Observed animal physical conditions to detect illness or unhealthy conditions requiring medical care.
• Monitored vital signs during surgery and notified veterinarian of changes.
• Educated clients on proper animal nutrition and preventive health care techniques.
• Assisted veterinarian with surgical procedures by assembling and sterilizing instruments and administering anesthesia.
