I am a recently graduated aircraft mechanic from Los Angeles. I turned my lifelong passion for machinery into a career and I am very excited to be a part of the future of aviation.
When I'm not fixing airplanes, I am the managing director of Mama D's Kitchen we are a small 501(c)(3) with over 40 years of dedicated history in our community. I coordinate and execute our Skid Row meal services as well as our multiple weekly grocery distributions to our low income neighbors in Central Los Angeles. From brokering supplies, to opening communication channels, to recruiting, to advocating for the rights of our neighbors I am proud to say that I do it all.
I have recently completed 2100 hours of trade school for Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance. I understand that the technical side of aviation can be obscure to laymen and I am eager to be a part of bridging the often frustrating gap.
