  • Operation Search and Rescue, During the 2016 Baton Rouge floods I and other guardsmen were tasked with serving state active duty assisting all who had suffered the impacts of the flood zones. With many tasks and missions I was entrusted to lead a team of 3 to Baton Rouge for search and rescue missions. We sustained these missions for four weeks until relieved from duties.
  • Hurricane Laura, A week before Hurricane Laura made contact with Louisiana I was activated on JMD to provide the following services: Account and transportation of State generators to Point of Distribution Sites across affected areas. Maintaining and purchasing a variety or parts, safety equipment, food, and water supply to POD sites, totaling in $373,000.00 in just rations.
