This includes; Assisting in intubation, performing extubation, responding to Codes and performing CPR, obtaining ABGs and CBGs, Ventilator checks and adjustments, delivering all types of breathing treatments, setting up and cleaning respiratory equipment, and helping to educate patients and family regarding various Respiratory Therapy topics.


I feel that I received the best training through the Respiratory Therapy Program at Volunteer State Community College as well as the best real life experience during over 800 hours of clinicals.
