• Contributed to research and drafting of the National Register Historic District nomination for San Bernard Street in Austin, TX.
• Performed reconnaissance-level field surveys, documenting contributing and non-contributing resources, assessing integrity, and capturing photographs.
• Conducted primary source research on building histories and occupants using Sanborn maps, city directories, newspaper databases, and local archival collections.

• Support the Park Historic Structures and Cultural Landscapes Program within the WASO Cultural Resources, Partnerships, and Science initiative through writing and design work for preservation planning documents as part of the National Cemetery Investment Initiative with the U.S. National Park Service.

• Conducted biographical research for the African American Travel Guide Survey Project, focusing on historic YMCA and YWCA sites in San Antonio, Texas.
• Referenced primary sources including Sanborn maps, census records, city directories, and historic newspapers.
• Performed archival research at local repositories such as Trinity Coates Library Special Collections and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
• Drafted initial website content for the San Antonio YMCA/YWCA entries on the Texas Historical Commission’s public site.

• Reviewed condition assessment reports and preliminary Letters of Interest for existing and potential National Historic Landmarks in the Midwest region.
• Edited and served as the lead writer for “Exceptional Places,” the annual National Historic Landmark (NHL) newsletter for the National Park Service's Interior Regions 3, 4, and 5 (Midwest).
• Conducted interviews with conservation subject matter experts and coordinated travel to photograph historic sites in the Midwest for the newsletter's lead article.
• Assisted with research and editing for a nomination to the Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.

• Proposed and fully developed a report to assess conditions of a section of rubble masonry wall ruins. The report includes a researched historical context section, condition assessments, treatment recommendations, and measured before-and-after photos for wall stabilization.
• Participated in several week-long intensive workshops on historic preservation fundamentals, including a BEST Workshop at Wupatki National Monument focused on stabilizing pre-contact masonry ruins, and a workshop on Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
• Acquired hands-on experience in historic masonry preservation techniques.
