Accomplishments
- Created a poster about social support for transgender and gender nonconforming students and presented it at the National Association of School Psychologists 2024 conference.
Clubs Organizations
- Gamma Sigma Sigma. This is a volunteer Sorority at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. The places we volunteered at include: Alex’s Lemonade Stand, The Blood Drive, Feed My Starving Children, Hunger Task Force, The Rotary Lights, Mom’s Against Drunk Driving, American Red Cross, Ghoulees in the Coulees, Food Pantry, Salvation Army, YMCA, The Special Olympics. The positions I held were social director and MIT assistant. I was responsible for organizing the social events, and recruiting individuals to join our sorority.
- School Psychology Student Association (SPSA). This is a professional organization, through the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, for School Psychologists in training. We create a welcoming environment and community, advocate for the field, provide connection opportunities, and plan events for our cohort and raise awareness. The position I held was Secretary, and I was responsible for taking notes at each meeting and organizing several events.
