With a robust background in customer service as a front desk receptionist at a tanning salon and a hair salon, along with obtaining my STNA license, I have honed exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the medical field. My experience in managing client interactions and providing personalized care has cultivated my ability to remain coachable and adaptable in dynamic environments. These qualities, combined with my dedication to delivering compassionate care, make me an ideal candidate for a nursing position, where I am eager to contribute to patient well-being and support a collaborative healthcare team.
I sell memberships and tanning lotions. Within my job I use critical thinking skills to answer clients questions that come in and educate them the benefits of using red light therapy. I am certified to sell these products and to tan clients. My certification allows me to know how to tan people properly based on their ethnicity, what products are being sold to the public and what skin care benefits it includes following with the materials inside of the products and what it does to someones skin, and how the skin produces color. I communicate with people and explain processes that will help them achieve their goals that they have set. I clean tanning beds and spray tan booths before someone goes in there to provide a clean and sterile environment. I ensure store compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local laws governing retail operations. I develop a strong relationship with clients and coworkers by providing exceptional support and communication.
I delivered outstanding first impressions by warmly greeting visitors upon arrival at the front desk and grew connections with the clients that would come in to get their hair done. I scheduled appointments accurately using reservation software, reducing conflicts or doublebookings, unless the hair stylist specifically asked me to. I managed a location for a few months, which allowed me to personally work with management and converse on things that needed to be changed to better the experience, to make it more efficient, more sanitary, discuss payroll, and layout different options of company change with it being during the time of COVID-19. I kept the salon clean and sweeping around the stylists stations, sanitizing their work chairs, cleaning and organizing product shelves, and filing paper work at the front desk. I boosted staff morale through effective teamwork and clear communication amongst colleagues in various locations.
