• I coordinate a study that is testing the effects of a sleep intervention on cardiometabolic health among adults with elevated blood pressure. The position entails working with the research study team in the recruitment, screening and scheduling participants, obtaining informed consent, data collection visits, and participant retention.
• I collect sleep, activity, and blood pressure data as well as conduct cognitive testing, blood draws and body measurements, and act as a
liaison between participants and study-related parties. I monitor enrollment goals and initiate strategies to promote enrollment and
participant compliance. I recognize, track and report adverse events and protocol deviations. I train and supervise student volunteers and comply with ethical standards for research involving human subjects as well as complete other activities as delegated by the PI and the project director.
