Hi, I’m

Kayley Genova

Woodbridge,VA

Summary

I am a current freshman at George Mason University pursuing forensic science. I plan on pursuing my master's degree in the same discipline and becoming a biological examiner or forensic pathologist.

I am from Charleston, SC and went to Charleston School of the Arts for violin. During school I took 4 years of French and am at a intermediate conversational level. I also participated in and was co-president of our Mock Trial team and learned workings of the court system.

As for work experience, I worked at Metto Coffee & Tea from July 2021-August 2024. There I started as a dishwasher when I was 15, and worked my way up to shift leader and baker at 18. Through my time working here, I've learned food and drink safety and preparations. I also learned effective communication and great customer service so every customer starts their day with a smile.
