Operate and troubleshoot oil and gas process equipment
Work with the Lead Operators to maintain production
Monitor wells for maximum production (variable speed drive electric submersible pumps)
Monitor, operate, and maintain oil and gas treatment and processing equipment to include two-phase separators, amine plant, compressors, pumps, scrubbers and chiller units
Troubleshoot process problems and make minor mechanical repairs to keep processing units on line
Perform regulatory monthly testing and make adjustments or repairs, as needed
Input daily oil, gas, and water production volumes into the Company computer program
Assist Lead Operator with data entry into Company's facility maintenance Mainsaver software program
Comply with all rules, laws and ordinances of all federal, state, and local regulatory agencies
Experience working on Platforms including the well bay, utilities, and compressors
Experience in equipment isolation and working with mechanics to complete annuals on compressors
Working knowledge and experience with Amine & Glycol plant equipment operation and maintenance
Knowledge of SCADA and wonderware
Responsible for filling chemical totes, well testing, collecting and analyzing hourly readings on production equipment
Performing routine tests and inspections
Monitoring chemical injection rates, pressures, levels, and adjusting pressure and level controllers as necessary
Changing glycol and amine filters
Cleaning pump suction screens, housekeeping, general maintenance, training new team members, and shipping chemical pumps and flow transmitters for maintenance and repairs
Understanding of well production optimization, troubleshooting, gauging and analysis as well as safety systems
Ability to communicate, troubleshoot and coordinate with various levels of personnel and production staff in a professional and timely manner
The ability to quickly learn new tasks, systems, software and operate new equipment with ease.
