  • Rotated through multiple departments within, gaining firsthand experience with horticulture, officer support, and community
  • Used propagation techniques and planting, such as budding and cuttings, while also learning about plant caring
  • Further developed organizational and attention to detail such as through shredding certain documents and certain amounts at a time as well as assembling gift bags for law enforcement initiatives
  • Adapted to different work environments, such as in an office or greenhouse, and further developing my work ethic and reliability

  • Performed timber cruising using diameter and height measurements to estimate tree volume
  • Identified trees and leaf types based on species, bark, land type, and distinct characteristics
  • Used land measurement skills and compass and pacing for navigation and plot sizes
  • Planted in reforestation with accurate spacing and size and performed TSI assessments
