Keegan Welch

I grew up always having a mind for business and took great interest in operational efficiencies to create margins to make profits. I graduated from North Olmsted In 2017 and moved down south to work for Venture Group via connection of my Aunt and Uncle. later after working and moving my way up in the company and started to dive into a more analytical understanding of how the business operated. I realized that this passion has substance that I wanted to chase. I went back to school for business and naturally fell into the Operation and Supply Chain end of things. Now after a year and a half at Cleveland State I have been building up my knowledge and sharping my mind for the business world. These amazing life choices and experiences have lead me up to this amazing opportunity.

As Treasurer I would correlate with the President and Vice President for events. Once we achieved a plan we calculated the price of each event. Once this was together I would go into VikesConnect (CSU Portal) and build funding requests to supply the events with items such as planned dinners, Items/ Decorations, Candy, Public speaker if needed and many other costs. 

This experience was priceless as it strengthen my teamwork and communication skills. This opportunity also gave me greater insite on the acquisition of funding for such planned events many of us attended through our academic year.
