Medical Student Chief 2024

Assisted with scheduling, developed curriculum, and led educational sessions focusing on EKG interpretation, ultrasound techniques, simulation-based learning, and wilderness medicine. Additionally, provided ongoing student evaluations, mentorship, and guidance to enhance clinical skills and professional development.

Physician at Rampart Medical Tent for Burning Man 2024

  • Provided quality patient care at the Rampart Medical Tent in an austere setting. Managed numerous acute patients requiring transfer, as well as treated orthopedic injuries, infections, and lacerations. Additionally, addressed various other medical emergencies with a focus on stabilization and immediate care. It was an incredible experience working with an amazing team, offering valuable lessons on practicing medicine with limited resources in a very remote setting.

  • Responded to numerous high-acuity toxicological emergencies in a busy and demanding environment, providing urgent stabilization and treatment before patient transfer. This involved managing complex cases with limited resources, requiring quick decision-making and efficient care under pressure.

  • Worked as a resident physician at numerous events in Las Vegas, including outdoor music festivals and events at Allegiant Stadium. Provided comprehensive medical care in diverse and high-traffic environments, addressing a wide range of emergencies.
