TEAMWORK EXPERIENCE

As a D1 Field hockey goalie my role is to see the entire field at once and be able to direct my team as I see fit. I communicate to our plays to ensure that all team members are where they need to be. Within that I am constantly analyzing the field and changing plays to match the flow of the game. I had to use leadership and communication skills to keep the team playing at peak performance.

DIVERSITY EXPERIENCE

I assisted in a field day dedicated to improving health and fitness for underprivileged youths. I lead multiple stations ranging from healthy plate building skills, exercise importance, and physically engaging kids in activity. I specifically dedicated 8 hours to educating and mentoring disabled K-8th grade children at this event and aided in strengthened the Universities connection to community.
