Projects

UG PROJECT, DRIVERLESS INTELLIGENT VEHICLE, The vehicle that has an on-board GPS equipped autopilot system, which is capable of driving the vehicle from one point to another without human operator. The system consists of functions such as GPS guidance for recording the required path, obstacle detection using ultrasonic sonar and motion control. The driverless vehicle can be made use in core companies to carry loads and human personnel in the recorded path eliminating the needs of a driver. The vehicle has scope in future to be implemented in public transport system. PG PROJECT, GRID CONNECTED INVERTER BASED PHOTOVOLTAIC FED SEPIC CONVERTER, In a grid connected Photovoltaic system, maximum power has to be drawn from the photovoltaic array and has to be injected into the grid. The system consists of a sepic dc-dc converter topology, a diode rectifier and a H-bridge inverter with a resistive load. The main aim is to reduce the noise and stress in the switches of the inverter. In a normal inverter, all the switches face the stress, whereas in the proposed circuit, only one switch, MOSFET of the dc converter faces the stress and compensates the switching losses. The grid inverter for photovoltaic based system is designed and implemented using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
