Providing proper supervision to CNA’s and all assistant team, administration of parenteral, IM, and subcutaneous injections. Working independently in the care of a resident’s home or within a facility to provide hospice care. Review daily documentation of dispensing controlled and noncontrolled medications. Placement of pharmacy & follow-up orders and appointments. Administration of treatments including but not limited to pressure injury care, catheter care, IV care and dressing changes, O2 administration, tube feeding, as well as TPN administration/maintenance. Ensuring proper infection control methods. Performing post-mortem care, point of care labs, perform and reading of EKG’s, insertion/discharge of catheters, ostomy administration, maintenance, and removal. Maintenance of indwelling tubes; i.e, (Peg tubes, J-tubes, External jugular I.V., etc.)
