  • Negotiated numerous international television contracts resulting in expanded worldwide coverage to nearly 1billion viewers per year, including live Sunday coverage throughout Europe on Eurosport, making CART one of the few American sports with live pan-European coverage.
  • Negotiated and developed a major motion picture “Driven”, with Sylvester Stallone, Renny Harlan, Franchise Pictures and Warner Brothers ($60 M production budget). Served as liaison and consultant throughout filming. Secured a $500,000 rights fee for CART, and secured approximately seven million dollars in product placement.
  • Created, developed, and produced a weekly magazine-style show, “Inside CART”, which aired on ESPN and gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at CART, the drivers, and technology.
  • Created the CART Radio Network (CRN). In 2000, brought the CRN in-house, upgraded the on-air product, and partnered with Clear Channel Communications, doubling the affiliate base to 75-plus stations nationwide.
  • Developed a web-based simulcast that featured the live play-by-play of each race, as well as practice sessions and qualifying on www.CART.com.
  • Hired and worked with SFX Television and Entertainment on a “Strategic Television Overview” for CART and motor sports worldwide. Developed a business plan and pro forma to assess the risks and rewards of CART taking all television production in-house.
