While working threw the years I've learned how to operate a variety of material handling equipment such as electric pallet jack(single,double,and triple)reach truck along with fork lift sit down and stand up versions.ive been trained how to use an RF scanner to accurately scan product along with the hand held wrist version(also called the gladiator)Rd unit and I also know how to use the voice pick head set to pick items using a voice operated headset with microphone.i was on the safety committee for 4 yrs at one point in my career in this warehousing field I've worked many different departments far as replenishment picking packing shipping receiving inventory quality assurance..so I know a little bit about a lot of areas of the warehouse process

  • I worked at Pepsi in the warehouse I was a order selector/Forklift operator.I used a rf unit to pick cases of soda once an order was complete I then would make sure I wrapped it well enough to make the trip where ever it was going to be delivered to and then I would stage the pallet on the dock in the correct lane it needed to be in to be loaded into a trailer for delivery..in this process I would use either a electronic pallet jack or a forklift to pick the orders.
